A 13-year-old girl presented at San Pedro Hospital, La Rioja, Spain, with intermittent redness, itching, and blurred vision in her right eye of 1 month’s duration. On slit-lamp examination, there was a small lesion in the free margin of the lower eyelid and a follicular reaction in the tarsal conjunctiva (A). Following surgical removal, with shave excision of the lesion, the follicular conjunctivitis resolved completely. Pathological findings showed central umbilication and epidermal hyperplasia, with intracytoplasmic inclusions, confirming the diagnosis of molluscum contagiosum (B).
