A 22-year-old man underwent collagen cross linking (CXL) for keratoconus in both eyes 3 years before presenting at the Sankara Eye Hospital, Guntur, with a complaint of blurred vision in left eye. On examination, the left cornea showed central, deep corneal neovascularization, measuring 4 × 3 mm. Feeder vessels were seen originating in the limbus at 5:30 (A). Corneal fluorescein angiography was performed and revealed an arborizing network of deep stromal neovascularization, with subsequent leakage into surrounding stroma (B).
