| History | | An otherwise healthy 8-year-old boy was referred to Baylor Scott & White Hospital by his pediatrician for evaluation of drooping of the left upper eyelid of 6 months’ duration. The patient’s parents reported that the drooping had become worse over the preceding 6 months, with associated mild blurring of vision in the left eye. The family denied any history of trauma, drug or allergic reactions, history of malignancy, or anisocoria. The patient had never worn glasses or contact lenses. Past medical history, surgical history, and social history were noncontributory. | |
