History
A 33 year-old white female presented in June of 2002 complaining of a sudden loss of vision in the right eye over the past three days. She had a recent history “hand-foot-and-mouth disease” a few weeks prior to presentation. She had no past ophthalmic diagnoses, trauma, or surgery, and her past medical history was significant only for childbirth several years before. Her review of systems was negative, and her only medication was oral contraceptive pills.
