The patient is a 29 year old man who complained of 2 episodes of seeing bright jagged lines in his vision followed by headache. The visual symptoms lasted approximately 15 minutes each. The patient has a prior history of headaches without visual symptoms which occurred usually on the right side of his head. The headaches were associated with nausea and photophobia and were partially relieved by tylenol. The patient denies any neurologic symptoms other than headache.
PMHx: Decreased hearing in both ears since childhood. He notes that he has had pre-mature graying since age 16. At age 16 he had a patch of gray hair on his forehead and gray hairs on his chest. Meds: Non Contributory SHx: Non contributory FHx: He states there is a strong resemblance between him and his father. Otherwise no other family history.
